Luiz Pantalena, MD, PhD
Luiz Pantalena is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He received his Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University in 1997. He went on to get a PhD in molecular biology, as well as his MD, from Stanford University. He completed his internship at the Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara, CA and his Dermatology residency at University Hospitals/Case Western in Cleveland, OH. He completed a Mohs surgical fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and has been practicing Dermatologic surgery in South Bend since 2015. He enjoys spending time with his family, and has a mug that reads "skin cancer slayer".

Kathleen Kelley, MD
Kathleen Kelley received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in History from the University of Notre Dame in 2010. She matriculated at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2011, where she was awarded the Medical Student Scholar Scholarship, awarded for outstanding academic performance as an undergraduate. She received her MD upon graduation from IUSM in 2015. At graduation, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for practicing patient-centered care with integrity, excellence, compassion, and empathy. She did a required one-year internship in Internal Medicine at The University of Illinois Chicago before beginning her three-year Dermatology residency at University of Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She has an interest in complex medical dermatology and teaching, and enjoys seeing patients of all ages.

Evelin Keultjes, FNP-BC
Evelin Keultjes graduated from nursing school at Indiana University South Bend in 2014. After several years working as a critical care RN in the ICU, Evelin decided to advance her degree – she earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from Goshen College Masters of Science and Nursing Program in 2019 and started her career at Beacon Dermatology that year. She is a second generation Latina of Mexican/Cuban heritage, and speaks Spanish fluently. She has a passion for providing care to the underserved.

Kari Sculati, FNP-BC
Kari Sculati graduated with her nursing degree from Indiana University of South Bend in 1992, and thrived in her work as a bedside nurse for many years. She became the Director of Patient Care Services for Intermediate Care at Memorial Hospital in 2012, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2013. She eventually was promoted to the role of ICU management, where she remained until 2018, at which time she moved to the House Supervisor role. She received her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2019 from Ball State University, and began in her role as a Dermatology NP at Beacon in 2020. She provides excellent patient care, and is a natural leader to her colleagues and her patients.

Sarah Woodrick, PA-C
Sarah Woodrick, PA-C earned her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2012, graduating with highest honors. She completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in August 2016. Since September 2016, Sarah has been practicing dermatology at Beacon Medical Group. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she worked as a phlebotomist at the South Bend Medical Foundation.

Olivia King, PA-C
Olivia King graduated from The University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida with her degree in Bachelor of Health Science in 2019. She went on to find her passion in dermatology working as a medical assistant in Arizona which drove her to pursue further schooling. She continued her education at Western Michigan University’s Physician Assistant Program to obtain her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and graduated in August of 2024. In her free time, she loves to read, hike, and play pickleball with her husband and family. She is kind, compassionate, and believes trust is the greatest quality one can be given.
